KOMATSU

In 1931, Komatsu took its first steps into diesel engine production, and since then, the company has continuously invested in research and development to improve the performance and efficiency of their engines. The following year, in 1930, they achieved a significant milestone by introducing Japan's first domestically manufactured excavator, called the "Komatsu No. 1." This marked the beginning of their involvement in the construction sector. Over the years, Komatsu has developed special diesel engines specifically designed for use in excavators and bulldozers, and they have also produced various three- and four-cylinder engines.
