injectors and nozzle

In a diesel engine, the injectors and nozzle are essential components of the injection system. They are responsible for injecting the diesel fuel into the engine's combustion chamber at the right time and pressure. Injectors are valves that inject the fuel into the combustion chamber. The nozzle is the end of the injector from which the diesel fuel is squirted.

Symptoms of faulty injectors include reduced engine performance, irregular idling, increased fuel consumption, black smoke from the exhaust, difficult starting and engine management system error codes. If these symptoms occur, it is advisable to check the injectors or have them checked by a professional mechanic.
