Starter motor

The starter engine is an electric engine that helps start the diesel engine . As soon as you turn the key, the starter engine receives power from the battery. Using a gear, called a pinion, the starter engine turns the engine 's flywheel. This starts the engine , allowing the diesel to be burned, allowing the engine to run independently.

The starter engine also has a magnet, the solenoid, that pushes the gear toward the flywheel when you crank. Once the engine is running, the solenoid pulls the gear back, preventing it from rotating and becoming damaged. If components of the starter engine , such as carbon brushes or bearings, become worn, the engine may be difficult to start or may not start at all. Therefore, it's important to check and replace the starter engine regularly for reliable starting performance.
