YANMAR

Yanmar Corporation is a Japanese company specializing in the production of diesel engine , agricultural and construction machinery, generators, and other technical equipment. Yanmar was founded in 1912 in Osaka, Japan, under the name Yamaoka Hatsudoki Kosakusho by Magokichi Yamaoka. In 1921, the company was renamed Yanmar Diesel Engine Co., Ltd. The first diesel engine , the HB engine , was produced in 1933. In the postwar period, they launched innovative agricultural machinery such as the compact tractor. Well-known Yanmar series include the 4TNV Series, which consists of four-cylinder diesel engine , and the 3TNV Series, which consists of three-cylinder diesel engine primarily used in compact construction machinery. They have also built various engine (the 2YM series) for small boats and pleasure craft.
