In this FAQ, we answer the most frequently asked customer questions, from availability and delivery times to international shipping and returns. This way, you'll know exactly what to expect when choosing a new or used diesel engine . We supply high-quality diesel engine from brands like Kubota, Yanmar, Mitsubishi, Shibaura, and Iseki, for both businesses and private individuals.

General
Where are you located?
Our workshop is located at Marke 7 in Dieren (Gelderland), near the A12 (near Arnhem). From here, we process and ship all dieselengine. We're a 15-minute drive from the A12.
What are your opening hours?
You can order 24/7 from our online store. We're available by phone Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Feel free to leave a message; we'll call you back as soon as possible.
Do you have a showroom or visiting address?
Our building in Dieren has a workshop and a large inventory of dieselengine. Visits are by appointment only or for pickup. Call +31616157443 to schedule your visit.
Are your enginenew or used?
We supply unused, low-hour, reconditioned, or well-functioning dieselengine. All enginecome with a three-month warranty. Images in the webshop are for illustrative purposes only; together we'll determine which engine is best suited to your needs.
Do you sell parts?
Yes, both new and used. Check our webshop for availability and condition, or send us a message for advice.
Which enginedo you have in stock?
Our main brands: Mitsubishi, Yanmar, Shibaura, Kubota & Iseki. We have experience with other brands, but these are the most represented in our inventory. The webshop is up-to-date with what we actually have in stock.
Do you sell parts?
Yes, both new and used. The condition of each part is indicated in the webshop. For special parts, please email or call us. We'll help you find the right part.
What's my old dieselengine worth?
MyPartsPlace accepts trade-ins for old engine. Provide your model and serial number, and we'll determine the value. Once agreed upon, this will be deducted from the invoice for your new enginethe old engine receive
Sales and trade-in
What information do you need to engine recommend
Always send the model number, serial number, the application (e.g., excavator, generator, mini tractor), and optionally photos of the mounting points and connections. With this data, we can check compatibility and make a suitable recommendation.
Overhaul or replacement, what do you do?
overhauls engineon order. However, we can supply reconditioned replacementengine, or offer a new or used engine that can serve directly as a replacement engine.
Does MyPartsPlace provide quotes?
Yes, we do, including shipping costs and any trade-ins. For business customers, we can create a quote and invoice in your company name; please provide your company details and VAT number. You can easily arrange this yourself through our website. Enter your details, select your engine and any trade-ins, and you'll immediately receive a clear quote. This way, you'll know exactly what to expect.

What are the shipping costs?
Costs depend on weight, dimensions, and daily rate. You can request exact prices by contacting us, so we can offer a fair price.
What is the delivery time?
EngineWe aim to ship Enginethat are not in stock have a longer delivery time. Please contact us for an exact indication. We understand that downtime costs money!
Do you also ship internationally?
Yes, many of our enginego abroad. We deliver engineto Belgium, Germany, Austria, France, Croatia, Italy, Finland, Denmark, China, Thailand, Romania, Europe, and Canada, etc.
What international taxes and customs duties do I have to pay?
You pay shipping and any applicable VAT to us. You will receive a separate invoice for customs, payable directly to the customs office of the country in question. Costs depend on the country, weight, and dimensions.
Is it possible for businesses outside the Netherlands to reverse charge VAT?
Yes, with a valid VAT number, you pay 0% VAT on orders. VAT numbers are verified.
How are enginepacked?
Engineare securely packed on pallets or in wooden crates with protective material. Couplings and fragile parts are shielded to prevent damage during transport.

Can I pay later?
We typically deliver after payment. Post-payment is not possible.
Returns & Warranty
Can I return my order?
Returns are possible upon consultation. Place your order carefully to avoid unnecessary shipping costs. If the engine or parts don't fit or are different than expected, please contact us for a suitable solution. Advice for future purchases is also available by phone.
What does the warranty cover?
Used engineinclude: 3 months warranty. New engineinclude: 1 year warranty. The warranty covers enginedefects and does not cover assembly errors, wear and tear, or parts you transfer yourself. In the event of a warranty claim, we will assess the complaint and offer repair, replacement, or another suitable solution.
Defect Procedure:
Always report a defect by phone or email, including your order number and a photo/video of the problem. We will evaluate the issue and provide instructions for return or repair; do not return the product without consulting us first.
Test process & photos
What tests do we perform?
We start with a thorough visual inspection, removing all cables, wires, and hoses. The engine block is cleaned, filled with fresh oil and a new oil filter, and tested on our own test bench. We check the cold start, the smoke pattern, and inspect the engine block for cracks, leaks, or other damage. If present, we also test the starterengine and alternator.
What does 'images are indicative' mean?
The photos on our website often show a representative model of the product. This means that the item shown is an example of the type or version we offer. Minor details, such as color and accessories, may vary slightly per delivered product.
Technical FAQ
Send us the make and model of your machine, as well as the engine or chassis number. It's often important to compare mountings, shaft orientation, and connections (coolant, fuel, exhaust). We'll check compatibility and recommend the right model or a suitable modification.
How do I identify a Kubota or Yanmar model?
The model/serial number is usually located on a metal identification plate or cast into the enginehousing. Send a photo of the plate or markings; we will identify the model and indicate which parts are compatible.
What can I do if my engine is overheating?
Check the coolant level, radiator (contamination), water pump, and thermostat. If the engine was smoking or consuming a lot of oil shortly before the problem arose, this could indicate more serious internal problems. Contact us for diagnosis and advice. We can assist with inspection or replacement.
How long does a dieselengine last on average?
That depends heavily on usage and maintenance. With proper maintenance and correct application, many industrial dieselenginethousands of operating hours. Low-hour or reconditioned enginecan begin a new life cycle.
Can you supply parts for older models?
Yes, we have a spacious parts warehouse and are happy to help search for hard-to-find or older parts. Send the part number or clear photos, and we will find the best option (original or aftermarket).
