KOMATSU
In 1931, Komatsu took its first steps into diesel engine production, and since then the company has continuously invested in research and development to improve the performance and efficiency of their engine . The following year, 1930, they achieved a major milestone by introducing the very first Japanese-made excavator, called the "Komatsu No. 1." This began their involvement in the construction industry. Over the years, Komatsu has developed special diesel engine specifically designed for use in excavators and bulldozers, and they have also produced various three- and four-cylinder engine .
