Exhaust manifold

The exhaust manifold in a combustion engine collects and directs exhaust gases from the cylinders to the exhaust pipe. It also regulates heat dissipation and can serve as a mounting point for the oxygen sensor in modern vehicles.

The exhaust manifold is replaced due to corrosion, rust, and cracking, which can cause exhaust gas leakage. Wear and tear from exposure to heat and pressure variations can also negatively impact engine performance. A damaged exhaust manifold can cause exhaust leak noise and disrupt fuel tuning if it serves as a mounting point for the oxygen sensor. It can also lead to increased emissions, causing the vehicle to fail emissions standards and potentially incur fines. Generally, replacing a damaged exhaust manifold improves engine performance, reduces noise pollution, and ensures vehicle safety and reliability.
