ECU – EGV – EGR

Modern diesel engine use advanced systems such as the ECU (Engine Control Unit), EGV (Electronic Throttle Control) and EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) for optimum performance and lower emissions.

The ECU is the brain of the engine , controlling fuel injection, air intake, and emissions control, among other things. The EGV ensures precise translation of the throttle input to the engine , resulting in a direct and controlled response. The EGR valve recirculates exhaust gases to lower the combustion temperature and reduce nitrogen oxide emissions.

Defects in these systems can lead to loss of power, error codes or increased fuel consumption.
