Schäffer Machines and Diesel engine

Schaäffer machines are powered by Diesel engine and Van Deutz and Kubota, depending on the type of machine and the performance needs. The larger wheel loaders and telescopic shovels, such as the 6680 Z, 5470 Z and 6680 T-3, use powerful Deutz Turbo Diesel engine and that vary from approximately 55 kW (75 hp) to 100 kW+ (136 hp in the 9640 T). This engine and meet the latest emission standards (Stage V) thanks to technologies such as catalysts and soot filters.

For more compact art leaders, such as the Schäffer 2630 and 2028-2, Schäffer opts for Kubota 3-cylinder Diesel engine and, for example the D1703-M-DI, which are known for their reliability, efficiency and sufficient power for smaller applications. This engine and are modern and offer a good balance between performance and fuel consumption.

Schäffer thus combines robust, clean Deutz- engine and for heavy applications with compact, efficient Kubota engine and for smaller machines, with which they can operate a wide range of construction and agricultural tasks.
